Hilton Formula 24 aims to provide an environment in which students, and their caregivers, can learn vital engineering and STEM skills
We use those skills to design, build and race electric cars in the Greenpower Education Trust series
Hilton Formula 24 is a race team for 11-16 year olds which competes in the Greenpower racing events each year. Our aim – to design, build and race a fully electric kit car. The team meets weekly throughout the year, working to improve the cars and learn valuable STEM skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
We have two cars, Atlas and Polaris, that both compete in races across the country at racetracks with rich histories, pushing limits and gaining new experiences while having fun and making new friends.
The races are organised by The Greenpower Education Trust, which is a UK based charity getting young people enthusiastic about science and engineering by challenging them to design, build and race an electric car. They hold over 30 race events each year for more than 10,000 students who range from primary age to university.
WORKSHOP SPACE
Leigh Marsden at ProTech MOT & Automotive Academy has very kindly provided the project access to an area within his workshop where we meet on Sunday mornings from 10am.

GETTING INVOLVED
The project requires support from young engineers and adults to support the design, assembly, build and race of the electric race car.
If you or your business are interested in sponsoring the project then please look at the Sponsorship page.
If you have any further questions we have compiled a Frequently Asked Questions page.
